What is Global Hack Week September 2023?
Global Hack Week is a week-long hacker festival. You can expect to complete challenges, hear about BIG community announcements, chat at hacker hangouts, enjoy fun live sessions, build technical projects, and make new memories.
You are in for an adventure featuring workshops, fun mini-events, challenges, panels, and more. These will help you to earn experience points no matter what level of hacking you are at, whether it’s writing your first lines of code or creating a multi-faceted project.

What is a Guild? How can I be a part of it?
One of the best parts of our community is that it allows people to meet and make connections with others, regardless of where you live. guilds are smaller communities within Major League Hacking. Whether you come in with a guild or not, you won’t be hacking alone.
Who organized Global Hack Week?
Global Hack Week is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). It is our mission to empower hackers worldwide by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Requirements
Your challenge submission must be completed within the submission period.
When relevent, your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) before this day of Global Hack Week September 2023 and 2) during this day of Global Hack Week September 2023.

Get Creative with Replit
Use any of the prompts from Replit Creates to create something weird and wonderful. Be sure to publish it to the Replit Community with the tags #MLH and #create31 when you've finished. Need inspiration? Head over to replit.com/community/create31!
Learn about Web Apps and Web Hooks
In Day 4, you will create a new web application and set it up to receive webhooks from Twilio.
Hack with React
React is a popular way to build interactive UIs. Try using it or adding it to an existing project. If you want to see our reaction, submit it on the Devpost.
Create a Tic-Tac-Toe game
Recreate the classic game - tic tac toe. If you’re new to coding, we recommend keeping it simple. If you’ve been hacking a while, consider challenging yourself more by attempting it in a new language or without googling any questions.
Encrypt a Password
As I’m sure you know, keeping your passwords safe is extremely important. Websites help to keep our passwords safe by encrypting them before they save them. We want to challenge you to write code to encrypt a password on your own! Submit your code on Devpost.
Turn One of Your Projects into a Non-Mainstream Language
Maybe you’ve heard of Python, but have you heard of EmojiCode? Yup, it’s what it sounds like - a programming language made entirely of emojis. It’s our final day of daily challenges, so let’s get a little out of the box and translate one of your projects into a non-mainstream language.
